1. Pre-launch status
eNotary.com.ph is not yet operating a notarial service. Today the site only lets you join a waitlist and read about the service we are building.
2. What the service will be
We provide technology that facilitates notarization. We are not a law firm, we do not give legal advice, and we do not act as your counsel. Notarial acts are performed only by commissioned Electronic Notaries Public.
3. Accreditation
Electronic notarization may only be performed through a facility accredited by the Supreme Court. We will not accept notarial work until our Certificate of Accreditation is issued, and availability of the service depends on it remaining valid.
4. Your responsibilities
You must give accurate information, present a genuine government-issued ID, be the person you claim to be, have authority to sign, and use the service only for lawful documents.
5. Documents we cannot handle
Notarial wills, depositions, and paper documents with handwritten signatures fall outside electronic notarization and must be handled by a traditional notary.
6. Fees and refunds
Fees will be displayed in full before you pay. If a notarial act cannot be completed for reasons attributable to us, the platform fee is refunded.
7. Limits of liability
We are responsible for the platform. We are not responsible for the legal sufficiency of your document, for a counterparty or agency refusing it, or for losses beyond the fees you paid us for the transaction concerned.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Philippine law, and disputes are subject to the courts of Metro Manila.
